So where do we put your wicketkeeper in the batting order
Pathetic performance by Zimbabwe...

Craig needs to bat 4th
Move Hami to 3rd
Bench Burl for Masaakanda
Bench Ngarava for anyone...
Sickening display by Chevrons
Don't you feel embarrassed writing this hypocritical crap?

Bench Burl .............. What Superman Burl who should never have been left out of any Zim team?

Bench Ngarava .......... What Superman Ngarava who should have been bowling for Zim since he was wearing short trousers?

Craig needs to bat 4th ..... What the Craig that hasn't scored any runs since God knows how long ago?

Give it a rest for crying out loud

Poor team selection killed us here, 3 bowlers on a flaky pitch .......

How embarrassing......

Cremer has to be a bit careful here that mavuta doesn't come in as he is doing great things with the Zimbabwe academy side

I must repeat this. If a guy who has been picked in the team primarily as a batsman and picked regularly for the last two years has a batting average of 9.73 to show for all his efforts, and he gets picked in the first XI again, we can't be in a worse position as a team. We would be losing no matter who the opposition is and wherever we play more often than not.

It is not about picking on one player and his performances for criticism. It indicates the state of the game in the country and severe lack of talent / will to move on. We can defend saying Waller was in rich vein of form leading up to this etc., but the fact is, we have seen such purple patches translating to zilch in cases of Sibanda, Chakabva and Matsi before too.

A two year, 15+ match average of 9.73. Lets have that sink in.
Right. So, I'll do this to everyone during the next match. May be that will work?

This is really sad..don't know how much more of this us fans can take..these players need to start being held to account.you can't blame the board in a situation like this
No I strongly disagree. This is ALL the administrations making and we must NEVER fail to forget this or fail to hold them to account.
The players are who they are. They are there because theres not really any better people left.

If Tawac is picked for the zimbabwean national team, then its not Tawacs fault he isnt up to international standard if there isnt better, know what i mean?

It was the admin that completely dismantled the cricketing culture in zim.

The admins policies led to the racial purge of the main cricketing ethnicity in the country.
That didnt end with 14 players in 2004, that has meant every future white player has been hesitant or has walked away or pursued other cricketing avenues due to suvival. The admin created that uncertainity for them.

It was the admin that diverted much needed funds from the game to useless admin tasks and unwarranted expenditure.
Whether its theft, corruption or gross negligence, it doesnt make much difference. It was horrible administration.

At every level of zimbabwe cricket theres been stupidity at times. Selection favouritism. Questionable decisions, questionable scheduling. You name it. They have been guilty of it.

What other sporting body in this world would not instantly dismiss a national coach who was found to have defrauded his credentials to land the position?

What other national team periodically decides to not pay their cricketers? then say they should be lucky to get anything.

need i go on?

We are literally seeing the comsequences of all this?

And guess what, when the Ervine/Williams/Cremer generation retires in a couple of years, it will only get worse.

Well at least Waller did something at the end. Very disappointing from some of the others. When was the last time Moor made any decent contribution?

next tim,e it will be a Moor fifty and a Waller duck.

The time after a Burl century and a Williams duck.

Thats how this team is. Thats how they have always been.

I think everyone is being abit harsh on the batting ! It's very tough to chase a 300 plus score with rain disruptions and DWL never favours the batting team in these situations. Only thing we got wrong there was the order I would have had ervine, burl,Williams, moor,Waller, raza

What was poor today was our seam bowling! Mpofu should have never been dropped.

I guess scoring 300 in 43 overs is a difficult task for most teams. Playing an extra batsman on a flat track was the risk that didn't pay off
