On the Cricket Ireland website the games are still listed. Interestingly these are due to be played at Bready and Stormont, which is Northern Irealnd and thus part of the UK. Long time since a Zimbabwe cricket team played in the UK. If it is cancelled that will be scandalous....This is a potentially good series for both teams.

News floating around that Sri Lanka will be touring India for 3 T20Is in January which seems like a straight replacement for our scheduled tour of 3 T20Is in India.

Also, according to this article, both series against Sri Lanka next year are cancelled. https://www.dailynews.lk/2019/09/13/spo ... -next-year
Sri Lanka was scheduled to tour Zimbabwe in January 2020 for 2 Tests, but with the ICC suspending Zimbabwe Cricket for political interference in the running of the affairs of their cricket in July this year that series is definitely out.

Zimbabwe was to tour Sri Lanka in October next year for 3 ODIs and 2 T20Is which will also not take place.

India have announced the dates and venues for the 3 T20s against Zimbabwe, I'll be surprised if it changes now esp with the suspension likely to be lifted next month.

Not sure about Sri Lanka tour, but the Zim - SLN ODIs later in the year are a part of ODI league, how can Sri Lanka cancel that?

Yup, agreed, but I think we all are expecting it to be lifted in October.

ZC are extremely lucky that ICC have organized this ODI league because without that I don’t think there’s a member nation left that will voluntarily play us in Tests or 50 over cricket again. I think you’ll find some of the associates giving us a swerve unless they come out here in their off-season. Who are we beating amongst that lot? We’re in with a shout against Ireland and Netherlands depending on where we play, but we are absolute cannon fodder against the others. ZC and their supporters have won a Pyrrhic victory, and they’ll never know what that means nor care. Those scumbags at ICC may support them for their own nefarious reasons, but that’s about it, we’re a spent force as far as the other serious cricketing nations are concerned and it’s just a bother to have to play us, and that’s the reality, we are a spent force. There’s going to be a bit of spin doctoring about how the up and coming youngsters (none of them are young  )will have a chance to showcase their talents, but we all know the tank is empty, you can’t make a good international out of a mediocre club cricketer.

I enjoyed the official line from ZC that the new-look squad for this tri-series was about looking towards the future and next generation, despite there only being 2 guys under 25 in it

Quite unfortunate but true.

The fact that Zimbabwe won't be playing a single test this year, after drawing an away series in Bangladesh last year, just sums up the situation in ZC.

ZC never learn their lesson, I was reminiscing about the 2013 Pakistan Test series which was actually a very good series, both Test ebbed and flowed and the quality was actually really good. Since then Zimbabwe have only hosted 7 Test matches !!! That's 7 Tests in 6 years, with only a further 7 Tests overseas (5 in Bangladesh).

Even among the most rigid Afrikaner you won't often find such a tone against cricket or rugby. You should just support England.
