The sharp focus evident in the players has been rewarded. Early in the series it was visible in Williams. The players have really stepped up mentally.

3 wins, 1 complete bowling failure, 1 complete batting failure. Not a bad outcome from five games in Sri Lanka.

With the exception of Moor and the second seamer, the other 9 have all really contributed.

Finally looks like they are building a solid system.

Surely our greatest ever ODI-series victory. The 2-1 victory in NZ in 2001 was a great achievement, but winning a five match series in Sri Lanka trumps it in my view.

What has been incredibly surprising in this series is the consistency we've shown. We are so used to an upset victory in the opening game of the series being followed by progressively worse performances. We have not seen a performance like this from Zimbabwe since the 1998-2002 period.

Let's hope we can finish SL off in the test match now, I think we are in with a chance.

Congrats to Zimbabwe, finally now we all realize how important it is to continuously play cricket, /it was good decision by zim management for the Scotland and Netherlands tour. Zimbabwe should keep playing as much cricket as possible.

Hopefully if zim can get Taylor and few others back it would be more good for their team.

I would argue that apart from beating England 3-0 at home this is our greatest ever ODI series win.

Solomon Mire was the key for us over the whole series, aggressive, arrogant and full of intent.

Firstly I take back my mental strength comment yesterday, we nearly blew it! Haha

Secondly, I think Streak takes alot of credit here playing moneyball with our selections, minimising our weaknesses by piling the batting reminds me of the team 15 yrs ago and it's basically won us the series having guys coming in at nine who can hold a bat!
The old Zimbabwe always had this. We had bliggie at ten FFS once

One thing I am truly pleased with is I have a revitalised sense of confidence that this team does have the talent it takes to win big games.
If only we can get Jarvis back, failing that we get back ervine who Plays the second seamer and bowling all rounder role and comes in at 8/9/10 and makes out batting lineup one that's on steroids.

And how good is raza becoming ? I was sceptical but he's turned into a fully fledged turner with the ball! It relieves the pressure on his batting.

Can you imagine the night these guys are having to celebrate ?
This will build bonds that will be hard to break and these boys will stick together for a few years yet.

Wow.. this is definitely one of the greatest days in our cricket history. All the pain we have suffered might finally be coming to an end. They have shown they are capable and the belief is coming back. We just need to change a couple of things and then we will be back in business.

Solomon Mire has a lot ignore potential. He should never change his approach. if he bats 20 overs we will always be posting mammoth totals. He really has been key in all 3 victories. If I was Taibu and co I would immediately add him to the Test squad so that he can play his shot early like Quinton De Kock for the proteas.

A lot of tough decisions have to be made in the next few days for the test. We have a keeper problem clearly and I'm not so sure that PJ would be a better pick than Reggie right now because he isn't scoring runs and over 5 days he will make many keeping mistakes too. Are they going to add another bowler or stick with just 3 specialists? Does Waller play? There is a lot to figure out

I got a feeling M'shangwe Nathan Waller and Regis didn't fly there for nothing. At least 2 of them will play
