Re: Ranking Zimbabwe's Match-Winners
His repeated exclusion from World Cup squads leads me to believe that might not be the case, contrasted with Utseya who still earned WC selection even when he couldn't bowl.
Re: Ranking Zimbabwe's Match-Winners
Utseya was never happy with anyone else's success. He looked happier to lose than to win. He was not only uninspiring he was a clear negative for morale.

Hammy? He seems a pretty decent chap. And what do the ZC need snitches for?

Re: Ranking Zimbabwe's Match-Winners
Dirk Viljoen was statistically superior to Prosper Utseya in ODI cricket. Utseya is therefore the fourth best spinner at best as everyone can agree Ray Price comes in at second-place.
Viljoen played 53 ODIs and took 44 wickets at 37.25 - a wicket every 47 balls.
Utseya 161 ODIs and took 132 wickets at 46.28 - a wicket every 63 balls

Cremer might feel a bit aggrieved at this - with an ODI average of 31 and a strike rate of 41 he's got Strang, Price, Viljoen and Utseya covered.

Add to that Utseya played a lot of matches against Kenya and Bangladesh.eugene wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2017 3:14 amDirk Viljoen was statistically superior to Prosper Utseya in ODI cricket. Utseya is therefore the fourth best spinner at best as everyone can agree Ray Price comes in at second-place.

I reckon Williams and Raza are better spinners than him.
