Moor
Kasuza
Chari(c)
Nathan Waller
Maruma
Sauramba(wk)
Mutombodzi
Madziva
Mumba
Magarira
Ndlovu

Surely if this is the squad then Zimbabwe must win the whole thing. Must not be afraid to use Nathan Waller higher. He could really destroy bowlers upfront Sunil Narine style. I still think he must focus only on his batting.

Sad to see Jongwe miss out on Afghanistan T20, but is he was part of this XI(bat at 8 and in place of Magarira), plus another proper bowler e.g. Wellington(instead of Ndlovu), then all of a sudden this looks like a top quality T20 XI.

Such a pity they don't see the importance of bowlers in this format. They are often the difference between chasing 150 and chasing 180 in T20s.

Where is Cephas Zhuwao?

Chari actually did really well in the last Zimbabwe domestic t20 tournament opening so I would think he will open again.

Our bowling looks short but there is once again a chance for Madziva to shine.

#### Bowling looks horrible :D

Giving Chances to Some Under 19s would have been a better idea, then this experienced failures.

Dont compare a player with skill with the useless. Talentless players doesn't get a call in Australian domestic cricket or a stinct like BBL. Mire was exceptional, shown much improvement and has given Zimbabwe hope to rise again, and these useless failures got smashed rrcently against South African Kids and now they will be facing the ones who will be representing South Africa

You see there is that little thing called personal view. It differs. Its pointless supporting a team you expect to fail.

This Team can reach to the semis only if lucky draw takes place like in 2016, that too chance is 50-50. Too many less skilled failures have been picked

In t20 its more about the strike rate of the batsman, an average of 25 and strike rate above 130 is a good t20 player.

Looks like a pretty random set of 13 names though. Short of bowlers as others have noted. What exactly is Innocent Kaia doing there anyway? We saw how he struggled to up the tempo for Zim A vs Afg A in that series where he did score runs. But for T20s?

Sauramba is again benefiting from fact that he is better than Handirisi and Mayavo. Doesn't really say too much. And what have they seen in Ndlovu too? Why not Mavuta? Not that he is better, but might as well help his development.

Hoping for a really strong series for Madziva.

Should have selected talents like Tafara Mupariwa, Faraz Akram, William Mashinge, Daniel Jakiel, Ryan Murray, Ryan Ebrahim and Mark Olonga as this sort of tournament is ideal to test new players.
