I would really like Mire and Hamilton to open in the Test format too. I'm a big fan of Mire.

He has a good record opening in ODIs and an MoS in the most recent assignment, and we are pushing him to middle order. He has a good record at no. 3 in tests and we want to push him to open there...

Masakadza is our number three in tests, end of story. He is an opener in ODIs, end of story.

That is always there. What we feel vs what ZC does. When we discuss these selections and batting orders, the idea is not to minimize the error between what we feel and what the team management does. If that is the idea, we can as well stop debating and wait for the XI that takes the field and their order. This is the pulse of the forums, and hence that of the fans. This is what gives you your 15 seconds of fame when leading journalists quote you in their news articles
Also, we may hope to draw attention of the management and show loopholes in their strategies. Really long shot, but worth trying

Good to see you again zimdan, not many have been around this place longer than you have!
pariah has had many incarnations here (notably as hhm), a full blown troll he's probably not (he is knowledgable). He just likes to stir people up by taking contrarian views on everything.
