Mumba vs Ngarava vs C Mpofu

Post by Mueddie28 »

The debate continues
Who should be included after Chatara & Jarvis as the other seamer..
Does Nathan Waller deserve a spot in the Zimbabwe squad even as a reserve...

If Zimbabwe had continued to use the successful Wellington, Jongwe and Madziva (and Chisoro) - all very very young, then there would have been no purpose for that Academy, right? So drop the supposedly poor performing seniors (Vusi and Panyangara), drop the youngsters who have apparently not delivered, Zim get extremely poor results, with some seriously strugglin seniors who are in too highly paid contracts to be dropped, and Zimbabwe is in a crisis that desperately needs an academy to fast-track development. Before you know it, the great young hope Ngarava is bowling alongside Mpofu who averages 40, as well as non-bowlers like Williams, Raza and Mire. I mean, who in their right mind even calls that an international attack, and expects a bowling coach to add ANY value when the only proper bowlers are Chatara and Cremer - with neither completing their quotas?
