You mean like the Rhinos getting rid of Zimbabwe's only world class Test seamer and leader of its Test attack?
What's the relevance of the statement? I'm saying the Rising Stars is in place because there's no spots available in the FC system. It's wrong, I know, as there are many players who simply should not be there, but the fact still remains never the less

Bloke comes from CC and makes a big hundred and it is bad for the competition.
Fact that other capable bats are warming the bench in the absence of internationals.

If Vusi and Mawoyo were not doing commentary some unfortunate Goats batsmen who performed instead would have been sitting out while an out of bounds County youngster and other poor RS "batsmen" played in Zim's only FC competition.
Poor Gupo :(

The thing about Murray and Byrom is that they’re replacing the opener Jha and keeper Tsiga who are both very average anyways. If Taffy or The big Opener Kamunhukamwe we’re losing their spots I’d be a little reserved but still wouldn’t oppose it.

Byrom and Murray can be the future of Zimbabwe Cricket so no harm giving them some experience

Kamunhukamwe
Byrom
Tary
Burl
Taffy
Murray wk
Mashinge
Mavuta
Mumba
Muzarabani
Ngarava

That’s a very good young side imo

Yeah I seriously like the look of that squad. These are the guys we should be looking at for the future of Zimbabwe cricket.

Two players who will not be available to ZIM cricket anytime soon are taking up FC spots in ZIM's cricket structures for plenty money, yet again some see positives.

What positives?

Disband RS and release their top players to Eagles, Tuskers and Rhinos!
How do you know what they’re being paid?
Making room for these guys is only good. Sends a message that there’s new blood and recycling the same old is not necessarily going to keep happening, hopefully the competition will be a motivating factor.
It’s also showing up how shit our FC standard is- a bunch of newbies holding their own must send alarm bells ringing. I’d like to see more imports adding interest and improving standards, not less.

Any cent on them is a waste and too much money under the current circumstances.

Not true. The message needs to be that there are pathways into cricket here. Start complaining about the ridiculous number of employees and various board members in the provinces, most of whom wouldn’t recognize a cricket bat two out of three times. Cricket used to be run by Pichanick, Ellman-Brown and one Secretary. They’ve been replaced by hundreds of sycophants put in place to perpetuate a regime.

Hhm has found some fiscal conservatism. But he still combines it with a love for Big Man patronage systems.
