I think SA makes a lot of sense, however the two nations do not appear to have as close a relationship as you'd imagine.
There are fiscal and logistical benefits of touring SA with the stars.
However, my gut tells me that the players and officials don't want a bar of a country that's become a bona fide banana republic.
England is more luxurious.
That's all well and good, except;
There's One glarrrring point that's being overlooked by everyone bar, sad to say, hhm.
WE CANNOT TOUR ENGLAND
Sanctions! Sanctions! Sanctions!
They have been in place since Mugabes wisdom thought farm theft was a tip top idea.
There is no relevant experience to be gained by English conditions!
Even if sanctions were lifted, what other country share the same cool wet climate as England in test cricket?
From a logical point of view, England is almost the dumbest place to gain exposure for a zimbabwean.
They also run the risk of being poached by clubs.
Any of the curry nations would make more sense to gain spin experience.
Aus/SA share similar conditions and WI are something different entirely.
I feel this if of taibu benefit only? Because he lives in England.....
Which by the way goes against everything we heard in 2011 about him giving up the western life to be immersed in the tabernacle church.
180 degrees or BS from the start?

How ZCF has overlooked all these points made me judge ZCF and it's in a negative light. How that continues to be overlooked, plus the fact that there's been no word about that loan, yet people here aren't outraged at all sends the message that some guys are just happy to see a Cremer and a Jarvis playing and nothing else.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2017 1:22 pmI think SA makes a lot of sense

I think ZIM was played here. A Pakistani planted to break the ZIM-IND relationship so IND could be isolated. ZIM will be thrown out in the cold soon. Just watch. Let ZIM dare to fail to qualify for the CWC and see what happens.

The only reasons the UK was chosen was because it is during our off season.
