3 years since his last game. Has he been permanently overtaken by Chisoro and W Masakadza, or can Mushangwe still make his mark at the highest level?

Chisoro will never be a Test bowler. First name in the team in ODIs and T20s.

Wellington will be ZIM's frontline spinner in Tests sooner rather than later.

Mushangwe will not be an ODI/T20 bowler, but he will be an important player in the Test squad. he's still just 26, and has consistently done well in Logan Cup.

The sooner people realise that Williams and Raza should not be bowling in Tests, and that Cremer is a liability and downright average, the better. Only people who are blessed with spinner riches can question if Mushangwe has an international future.

Watching Mehidy - an offspinner with more control and greater wicket-taking ability than Cremer - being mauled for 0-180 by SA will be nothing compared to what they'll do to Cremer. Taijul Islam is also superior to Cremer but he got molested too.

I also think Chikomba will get an opportunity and deliver across all 3 formats

There is no point playing two leggies in the same team, so the real question is whether Mushangwe is better than Cremer? From what little I have seen of him I tend to think not.

He has claimed enough FC wickets to get some respect I think. Also spinners have a much longer shelf life than most players. Just look at what age Herath started shining.

Problem for me is that the mountaineers are stacked with too much bowling talent. Their pace attack has Shingi Chatara Tiripano and I also think Nyauchi. Their spin bowling has Mshangwe Kamungozi and Wellington. They literally play 5 bowlers every FC game.they are actually a team which puts the whole 8-3 theory to shame..If I was Mshangwe I would move to the eagles and secure a guaranteed regular spot there.
