Early days but it looks like any hope Chisoro had of playing the 1st Test are gone. Everyone else conceding nothing per over and he's going at over 4.

Chisoro should be a mainstay in the LOI sides.

But an average of 40 in FC cricket is quite poor considering how ZIM batsmen play vs SLAs. An off spinner is needd for th 2nd spinners role. Or Wellington but then that leaves the spin attack vulnerable to LHBs.

The Don showing that he is a serious option for the first test as he can hold up an end and add runs with the bat.

Big question is do we go for the third pacer in Tiripano or do we take a risk a second specialist spinner who can bat a bit. Options would be Chisoro, Mavuta or Wellington.

Will Mashinge looks like a very good contender for No 4 bowler...What do you guys think?

I truly admire Donald Tiripanos batting skills but he doesn't strike as a Wicket taking bowler.

Mashinge looks good on that front.

Mashinge has shown potential. Might need another season at first class before breaking into the side outright

WI 264/3 after 78 overs.

At least Mavuta and Chisoro are bowling as well as Cremer. That's a positive. Streak and Taibu should be pleased.

Hopefully one of them can make it 300/4 by the close.
