I think it's unfair to select Welch and Byrom over Hami since they've really achieved nothing so far in their early careers ( obviously huge potential )

for me

BT
Hami
Ballance
Craig Ervine
Hilton Cartwright
Taibu wk
Sean Williams
Sam Curran
Cremer
Tom Curran
KJ

Chatara
CDG
Mire

Only really Tom Curran was never a chance from these guys as he has never once showed any intention to play for Zimbabwe, at least Cartwright & Sam played/spoke about playing for Zimbabwe as youngsters.

True, Welch and Byrom have't achieved "anything" since they have yet to debut, but...is that so much less than Hami's achievements in a career spanning 15 years and ~300 innings?

I am inclined to say its not.

What's this obsession with Cartwright? He legit looks like a club cricketer. Doesn't get anywhere near my starting XI

Averaging over 50 in the Sheffield Shield (Australia's domestic first-class competition) is no joke tbh....

NZ had it in the bag, but lost because of Colin de Grandhomme

Yes I am sure there were no other factors at play. I have always thought de Grandhomme to be overrated, but I do not share your glee at his failings. You do realise other peoples failures are not your successes right?
