Watermelon, why not select the squad on merit?

a 5-5-1 or whatever squad is almost guranteed to not qualify for the WC...is that what is best for ZC?

So when you see injustice you lock a thread ?
This isn't what ZCF is about.

I don't see how selecting a squad on merit can be seen as injustice.....

I didn’t see anyone complaint in 2013 when Zimbabwe played Pakistan with 9 blacks or against Ireland in 2008 when the whole side was black ??

The words ‘quota’ and ‘equality’ only come out when the there are more whites.

Really don't find any of it remotely funny.

There was a similar statement made by the admin on a Zim Cricket fb page and there was an overwhelming response from the black fans, I felt a stirring in my loins, I think it was hope!

Which game was the Ireland one? I don't remember any time Zim fielded an all black team.

The Panyangara issue for mine leaves me scratching my head to be honest.

On one hand i see a fat piece of poo that rarely looked threatening and never once ripped through a team above age group level. And got raped at the death.

On the other hand I cannot deny that his stats are good by Zim levels and his upfront spells in ODIs in terms of economy have been great.

How he can go from 0/16 after 6 to 1-50 after 10 repeatedly ill never understand.

I think he should always have bowled 8 on the trot and be done from there.
