Poor showing by Tuskers, puts our FC into perspective. There’s no way a FC side should be losing to these guys.

and this hhm guy had the stupid nerve to compare these kuds we lost with his "bunch of overrated underachievers " ... beats me me how dumb he actually is to think so. This is just his first game givve him a year and he will be topping the charts. he should be opening in that windies test match

Byrom is one we must go after , a gritty opener and extremely young . Who knows what he could be , we must entice him.

Jesus he's not there yet bud.
Talented yes, but he's not a 100k a year type player. Not that ZC even have that type of money to keep splashing out!

Wow that's an incredibly slow innings from Byrom. The lone boundary from over 45 balls. I fear we might be in for some disillusionment. But I will hold my judgement for now.
Lucky you held your judgement there Conant ;)

I tend to think we should be willing to wait for Byrom. He is contracted with Somerset through until 2019, that may be the opportunity to offer him a full-time Zimbabwe contract. Talented batsman no doubt but too early to get overly excited.

Wise words, refreshing to see on this forum after some of the garbage being produced here lately

Yea I agree, slow it down a bit. Just don't want him to get extremely comfortable in England to the point where he doesn't want to come back.
But I think it's brilliant that he's back in Zimbabwe and playing FC cricket. Here's hoping he won't be another Gary Balance; scores heavily for the Zim domestic sides but has absolutely no intention of representing us. I feel he's slightly more patriotic and down to earth than Balance was/is.
