Across all matches Cricinfo tend to throw in some interesting stats. Good place to throw in those bits once in a while.

2000+ Runs for Kohli across all formats in 2017. He becomes the first batsman to pass the mark this year. Amla is next with 1988 runs.

150 sixes in ODIs for Rohit Sharma. Only four other Indians have hit more.

12 No. of century partnerships between Kohli and Rohit, the third-most for any Indian pair and the second-most among all pairs this decade.

194 No. of inns taken by Kohli to reach 9000 ODI runs, the least of any batsman. AB de Villiers was the previous quickest in 205 inns.

Amla on 7381 runs in 155 inns. He needs to score 1619 runs in 38 inns at 42 avg in order to overtake Kohli.

No other batsmen have scored 50 centuries in international cricket in fewer innings than Amla and Kohli who got there in 348 innings.

Kohli got there in the latest 1st Test against Sri Lanka.
