Erm....who's this Mohammad Ealahk who is opening for the Mountaineers?
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

A lot of players seem to be missing this round. Especially fringe national team players. Are the A-team up to anything?

Of the test team from the WI series, only Ervine and Chakabva are playing this round. I know there are a few of them over in Bangladesh for the BPL, but some seem to be just resting.

Ealahk is Jakiel's arch-nemesis. He has a batting style that has been likened to Don Bradman, and he's purportedly the only batsman in Zimbabwe capable of keeping out Jakiel's toe crushing fireballs.

If there's one component to his game that could be improved, and I'm really reaching here, maybe he is susceptible to being trapped leg before to right arm medium once he's set. Call it a false sense of security if you will, but for a man of Ealahk's tremendous talent I'm sure it's only a matter of time before he eradicates this one deficiency from his game.

Truly exciting times ahead for Mountaineers now that he has chosen to make himself available for provincial duty.

No Kasuza, Innocent Kaia, Wellington at Mountaineers and no Chari at Tuskers. Surely, there is an A series coming up?

Great to see Ervine get right back into business as he definitely needs more game time.

Yep, I was thinking the same. And despite the absentees Goats are still able to field a strong pace attack, so he won't have it too easy either.

The A team are going to the UAE for five one-dayers. Not sure if the opposition is the UAE itself or Afghanistan. Or could be Pakistan...?
