Neither our U19s nor the A team plays enough cricket through the year, although things have improved of late in terms of game time. Why not have Mangongo at the helm of both? What exactly has Hondo brought to the table all along apart from being a cheap option? Zim A results have been abysmal. Even the A team guys, like the U19s, might need some discipline. Who knows, may be the guys in the UAE right now are more keen on enjoying the hospitality than getting the job done. Is Hondo really capable of getting the guys to focus on the job at hand? This is a really good A squad which should have ideally beaten the UAE 5-0. May be Mutombodzi for Maruma was the only improvement we could have had. What is ailing them otherwise?

So, why not Mangongo? Why not even Walter Chawaguta to guide them, or Alester Maregwede, or Shepherd Makunura, or upgrade Wayne James, or someone? Two years down the line, may be even Matsi. Hondo is definitely not fit for the job and we have known it all along...

You forget that Mangongo has Greg Lamb as batting coach, while Streak has Klusener. And statistically, u19 and International batting have been very poor. So why fire Hondo not them?

In fact, as Head Coach Streak has been more hopeless than Hondo. Do you edn know the A team results?

I think Hondo has done very well in terms of bowling with the revolving door A side. They've played plenty games since he took over.

Why does it makes sense for Mangongo to be A tram coach but not International coach based on the ZCF arguments? Contradiction much? :?

For what it's worth, Mangongo's A team record is very brilliant. That's largely part of why he became ZIM coach.

The only relevant question is "Why not Mangongo for ZIM coach?"

Craig and Williams grew in the A team under Mangongo.

It's the same here in SA. They say soccer coach Shakes Mashaba is just like Mangongo. But he's been more successful than Carlos Quieroz, Stuart Baxter, Carlos Alberto Pereira, Phillip Trousier etc. ZIM cricketers are nothing compared to these soccer players in terms of egos, money and profile. Ray Jennings worked out in for the Proteas too while a Gary Kirsten simply couldn't cope.

Look, I'm talking Hondo, and you are talking Honduras. That's how relevant it seems.

How shocking that someone should be paid early for once instead of years late or not at all. I will take it up with the Holy See. It seems someone needs to sort it out with the Big Guy. Zim cricketers paid for playing cricket! Great sins committed, Father!

Kirsten was relatively successful but over a negligibly brief stint. Lon term he wouldn't have done betteghan Domingo.

We're talking man-management. Mashaba, Jennings, and Mangongo are strict and successful.

Jennigs built RCB big heads!

He got the Proteas to function after being horrible under Simmons.

You want to blame him for losing in India?

England beat SA at home again remember, besides, that was a very strong England team. You can ask Australia!

Don't talk about things you don't understand.
