The boys did it..Mr price lending his experience to the camp and no doubt helping to calm nyamunzinga so they could get over the finishing line

A nice easy way to start off, well done Steven Nyamuzinga & Ray Price.

I hope that the next 5 games will be a little less heart stopping 8-)

Great to see Zim win. I hope they reach latter stages, and prove the critics wrong. It sucks having a full member regarded as a "minnow" in a league of franchises.

Eagles v Chevrons
Bloemfontein, 26 March

Eagles have won the toss and opted to bat. Since Zim seem to like chasing, that's a good thing.

Eagles squad:
MN van Wyk, LL Bosman, D Elgar, HH Dippenaar, R McLaren, RT Bailey, AK Kruger, R Telemachus, D du Preez, J Coetzee, T Tshabalala, RR Rossouw

Zimbabwe team:
H Masakadza, T Taibu, CJ Chibhabha, BRM Taylor, E Chigumbura, S Matsikenyeri, KM Dabengwa, SK Nyamuzinga, P Utseya, RW Price, T Mupariwa

Oh dear

I think the boys are just beginning to learn the nasty lessons of how 20/20 can be played.

62-0 from 7 overs, Chibhabha 1 over for 18, Chigumbura 3 overs for 28.

It's a one-man show, though - get rid of Bosman and they may get a chance to pull it back, van Wyk is just knocking singles to get Bosman back on strike. If he stays there much longer, Eagles will be well out of reach.
8.6 Utseya to van Wyk, no run
8.5 Utseya to Bosman, 1 run
8.4 Utseya to Bosman, 2 runs
8.3 Utseya to Bosman, SIX
8.2 Utseya to Bosman, 2 runs
8.1 Utseya to Bosman, SIX
I'm sure Prosper's wishing he could live up to his "Dots" nickname today... :(
