Mountaineers v Midwest Rhinos
23-26 March, Mutare Sports Club
This one will decide who Eagles meet in the finals - Rhinos are 10 points behind Mountaineers in the table, and so need a convincing win to reach the finals. My money's probably on Mountaineers to hold on.

Rainsford and musarabani playing havouc with mountain's top order
Why rainsford wasnt selected for the west indies tour is beyond me. he can be very quick and extract good bounce. he had a good series when sri lanka toured zim last year and got a couple of 3-fers if i remember correctly. It was the batting that let us down that series. If andy blignaut is firing on all bowling cylinders I would like to see Rainsford jarvis/blignaut lead the bowling attack. that would be interesting

Mountaineers close on 212 - not too bad after a poor start... Maruma 59, Rainsford 3/41.

Good day for the Rhinos, good to see Rainsford finding some form as its been a long time since he has consistancy bowled well.
ANother thing to note is that the Rhinos have beeen very clever in there signing and have quitely picked up three of the current under 19 side in Richard Muzhange, Simon Mugava and Gary Chimarta. Hopefully Andy Waller can nurture these three players and ease them into first class cricket.
What is good is that these crop of under 19 players are not simply walking into first class sides as they have done previosuly which shows how the depth of our first class struture has improved.

Malcolm Waller is playing the innings of his life here and reminding people that he is still around and that he can play to his potential. The Rhinos now have a 58 run lead with over a session of day 2 left. Need to keep son scoring quickly and then let Cremer do his magic in a must win game.
Looks like the Rhinos are on track for maximum bonus points as well which would put us in the final.

Yes Malcolm Waller, yes yes yes

Well batted. He certainly one for the future. He just needs to keep scoring runs at first class level, something he's failed to do this season in all honesty

Apat from the brillance of waller, well batted.
i think the bowling effort of Tendai Chitara should be noted. To get 5 wickets and to get them at such a low economy rate is a fair effort. We know he can push up to arond 137km, i think he should be in line for a debut soon.
