how on earth have i failed to make this ZCF XI?
Well, what do you expect when the chief selector sits in the US ans picks the side? That too a BD supporter. It is like having the Pakistani Hasnain and the UK based Taibu at the helm rolled into one!

The jontys, the Conants, the gargamels, the Flakemans and the zimdans would suffer for sure despite putting in the hard yards day in and day out.

I guess TapsC is like our Tarisai Musakanda? The most exciting prospect for the coming decade :)

The selection criteria rewarded length of ZCF membership and number of posts for the most part.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Looks at that middle order. We can crush the Dravid-Tendulkar-Ganguly-Laxman middle order any day!

Conant for Bayhaus would not have raised too many eyebrows...

Conant was unlucky to miss out, but with pariah being a lock for one opening spot, there was only room for one other indigenous player at the top of the order.
