Mutombodzi finishes of the tail and get 4 wickets. Being captain and all I wonder why he doesn't always back himself and bowl more.

The clobberer in chief does his thing and gets his first century.

Hard to ignore what he's been doing this season.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Mutombodzi is a basher of less talented domestic bowlers. Once hr faced international standard Jarvis, he failed to deliver.

Zimbabwe will commit a huge mistake if they give him a chance.Ryan Burl should get chance.
Zhuwao just made 150+ with Jarvis in the bowling attack. Wonder if that reflects better on Zhuwao's CV or not so good on Jarvis. Every dog has his day. Zhuwao has been on the raise. Hope he continues he could be a shoe in for that opening spot in the shorter formats.

interestingly now one could say Zhuwao has been in better form than Mire in the longer format over the last couple of months. I didn't rate him for a while but this is a BIG score. what's he averaging this season?

The one thing which works when you have an explosive opener in the long format is that you can build a lead or close one very quickly which will completely change the dynamic of a game

:D A t20 opening 3 of Mire Hami and Cephas...imagine that!

Geez what a quality innings by Cephas Zhuwao against A pretty strong Rhinos attack of KJ, Chinoyua and Chisoro

Wow a run rate of 5.11 over 60 overs Zhuwao and Manuze really changed this game very quickly for the Eagles

Zhuwao just doesn't know any other way. You sitting on 191 with a milestone approaching 3 Fours in a row. Epic. He is in a bit of form this season.
