Word is filtering through that players from both teams have gone on strike to protest pay and work conditions, although the rumour mill is saying that hhm is delaying the prospect of having to open and has thus decided to concoct a strike instead.
FlashG brokers the impasse. hhm given a four year us$20,000.00/month contract with a small portion of 3 years paid up front. Rest of the players promised king size beds in their boarding houses during camp.

Play resumes.

News trickling in that bookies had contacted hhm before the beginning of day 2 and hhm had secretly met Black Mamba, Stoneman and The Robot from the opposite camp post lunch session. Things starting to smell dirty now. zimfan1 gets to know of the situation and has begun a massive protest at the Castle Corner. How credible was that 5-for?

Meanwhile, hhm is known to have attempted an Olonga-style escape from HSC and Zimbabwe during the innings break. Chiwenga's men in hot pursiut. hhm is also belived to have fled with the 3 year upfront money he brokered with FlashG. FlashG is found to be missing too.

Scenes at HSC.

hhm has taken the money and run, thereby avoiding the ignominy of yet another duck. Who will open now?

The ever-selfless CrimsonAvenger puts his hand up to open. He was anyway going to come out in the first over given hhm's penchant to play the Marillier Scoop to the 150 kph yorkers of Zero76, just because that shot is known to be statistically productive to all non-Marilliers, the sample space being one shot played in last 10 years.

Hami and Tino have a chuckle on commentary about CrimsonAvengers childhood drawing and his obvious fondness for birds while he plays out a hostile maiden by Zero76. He finally gets off the mark and thus avoids a duck two overs later when he tucks one off his hip off the bowling of tawac.

ZCF A have started well here with the ball; captain TapsC is backing his opening bowlers to do the job, but there are already ominous signs in the field: When bayhaus agressively goes after a short ball by Zero76 and only manages to sky it miles high, The Robot completely overruns the ball and then sends a wayward return way over the head of the bowler. Stoneman Returns just keeps the ball from going over the boundary, but when he turns and sees bayhaus out of his crease looking for a third run, he can't resist the temptation to hurl the ball at the unsuspecting black batsman off whose helmet the ball flies for six more overthrows towards Castle Corner. Zimfan1 catches the ball and his fellow fans struggle to keep him from running on the pitch and going after the culprit.

After much gesticulations play resumes

ZCF 0/35 after 7 overs.

BRM needs to urgently modify the scripts here ... as long as he doesn't bug the site like maehara

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!
