[Match Thread] Tour Match - Zimbabwe v Cricket South Africa XI
Re: [Match Thread] Tour Match - Zimbabwe v Cricket South Africa XI
I’d rather have Hamilton in my team any day over Bavuma !
Re: [Match Thread] Tour Match - Zimbabwe v Cricket South Africa XI
Chamu Chibhabha.
Every one expects "Watson" like performance from him, but has been a " greatest failure ". Even a 50 could have been expected from an allrounder like Elton at his prime form against a top side.
A talent which is best against an associate nation or an average domestic cricket competition but unfit for international standard, still finds a place in playing XI of many members in ZRF
Would rather consider technically correct Masvaure who has got less oportunity then Chibhabha, atleast in scoring runs.

Muzarabani gets the biggest wicket of the side. Should def play ahead of Mpofu.

Couple of wickets for Cremer which will help his confidence before boxing day.
Blessing cannot play on boxing day, he is nowhere near ready.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2017 3:11 pmMuzarabani gets the biggest wicket of the side. Should def play ahead of Mpofu.

Unless you have seen him, you don't know that. Yes, there is a 95% chance he is not ready same with any bowler. But there is a 100% that Mpofu will not threaten SA bowlers in a meaningful way. I'd take 5% over 0.
Jarvis, Chatara, and Muzarabani could at least pose some questions if nothing else.

Rank tailender and nightwatchman gets 41 runs against Zimbabwe's attack. His highest score in over 60 professional innings to date!
ZIM's so-called champion spinner(Cremer) and seamer(Jarvis) going at 3.5 against kids.
The SA Invitational XI have decided to respond with 9 batsmen too...
What else could go wrong?

Anyone who reads too much into tour matches doesn't understand cricket very well.pariah wrote: ↑Thu Dec 21, 2017 3:57 pmRank tailender and nightwatchman gets 41 runs against Zimbabwe's attack. His highest score in over 60 professional innings to date!
