A lot of questions need to be asked about our brains trust.
How they continue to get such a free pass from the overwhelming majority of this forum boggles the mind.

Streak is surely the worst head coach in ZIM's history now. No other coach in such a short period, sunk to the kind of depths he has against opposition you least expect. Mediocrity at a premium.(Then again, even Whstmore was lauded for losing to AFG and IRE so why should Streak's treatment be surprising)

To think this is the man entrusted with CWC qualifying surely means ZIM are half doomed already.

Yeah dude, we get it, we have sunk to such depths that we even beat Sri Lanka 3-2 in their own backyard!

If i'm being honest, I actually misread and thought Burl was out. I take back a little of what I said about him, but still think his strike rate is a little shocking. When you have wickets falling around you, yes you need to steady the ship, but you also need to add some pressure back on to the opposition by maybe just rotating the strike every now and again, and not just playing to block. Doing that will make the bowling team think twice.

We obviously cannot make Streak the worst coach in our history, particularly when you take in to account what happened in Sri Lanka, however it does pose the question, why are we so pumped up and in form when a new coach takes over but then forget everything after a while.

Zim coaches have had success all over the world, but when they come to coach their own, the players are horrible. Some questions need to be asked of the players and their mentality, as well as their willingness to improve. Their mindset and if it is one of playing to win or playing not to lose.

We can be fortunate that Streak does not abuse his players like a certain someone.

Raza and Chatara contributed greatly too. Others didn't do badly either.
So what you basically mean is that when we win, it's the players who are responsible and the coach doesn't deserve any credit but when we lose, it's the coach to blame! #hhmlogic
What were the players doing under other coaches?

Burl has missed out big time here. His SR in this match was shocking. You cannot be at the crease for that long and only score 17. There are always moments for everyone to step up, and these matches are those moments. If you fail to step up, you fail to succeed.

The dame people who grolified Chakabva duck of 30 ball...vilify Burl 17 runs of 81 balls..

It was Taylor who had been dismissed first ball yesterday, not Cremer. Cricinfo has updated the score card.

...which just makes things worse!

Burl and Chibhabha going at it hammer and tongs.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).
