. I don’t mind this at all , yes he’s raw and probably not ready but under lights and on Boxing Day we shall see snippets of what the kid is made of . Obviously Streak and co see something in him , all I can say is best of luck and it is probably time to move on from Mpofu . He’s been a great servent but sadly just doesn’t take enough wickets.

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

He isn't ready, surely. Probably necessitated by Chatara's lack of fitness. Just hope that he is managed well and doesn't get disheartened if a massacre happens at the hands of SA batsmen.
Best wishes to the debutant, Go well!

I get a very bad feeling that he is about to take Chatara’s place tomorrow. I hope I’m wrong and Mpofu misses out. Chats is a great bowler.

Muzarabani should always been in the plan of getting debut match in boxing day. No matter even if gets smashed.
Inexperienced bowlers like Rabada & Broad were smashed in start of their career and now they are best in the world.
He should replace atleast someone, who made debut in test way back in 2005 and gets picked in the side for bowling tight line & length instead of giving wickets, but still the opponents scores 400.

Good move. The bounce he might get even at 130 clicks could make the difference between a a decent bowler and a very good one.

I think we should have Chibhabha to compliment jarvis, Mpofu & MuzarabaniKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:26 amGood move. The bounce he might get even at 130 clicks could make the difference between a a decent bowler and a very good one.

Chibabha is a better batter than Mire. Chibs at least a chance to face 50 balls and see off the shine till the first bowling change. Mire only knows one way to bat, from what I can tell.Mueddie28 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:30 amI think we should have Chibhabha to compliment jarvis, Mpofu & MuzarabaniKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:26 amGood move. Whoever steps up with the bat in this game (I hesitate to call a 4 dayer a Test), will prove his credentials. Last time it was Taylor with a superb 90 plus knock (as good as a hundred). I would like to see Taylor, Ervine, and Raza amongst the runs as I believe they are a class apart from the rest. Would also be good to see Moor and Regis continue their good form. I don't expect much from the rest of the batsman. If Burl gets picked, I hope he does well.

Chatara and Jarvis definitely should play. I would personally go for Muzarabani over Mpofu but the selectors could go either way
