Tom Curran confirmed for test debut for England

Post by Andybligzz »

Joe root has confirmed young tommy will make his debut in the 4th ashes test ,boxing day at the mcg. Good on the lad , another one lost to zim cricket, this lad can seriously play and is such a shame we don’t have him . Anyway best of luck to the kid and all the best to his future in the game.
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Well done to Tom hope he does well

I don’t feel like he is a massive loss to Zimbabwe since he really never wanted to play for Zimbabwe

The likes of Sam Curran, Ballance & DeGrandhomme played junior levels for Zimbabwe which shows they were at some point interested in playing for Zim

I wouldn’t worry about that, none of the English can bowl over 135. I’m shocked how soft they have been

To be fair Overton is the only one who has shown some spine , he’s definitely one the future . You don’t have to be that quick in Aus if you bowl the right area and get bounce and a tad bit of seam movement . Him and Malan have been a find .

I always thought Aussie pitches were flat bouncy and batsman friendly hence why we tend to go for 145 km bowlers?

Whereas in England it moves more.

Hence why jimmy Anderson struggles here but rapes in England

Wood and Ball can bowl over 145. Plunkett too. Woakes and Stokes can also get it close to 145.
