The all-time Zim "heavyweights" XI
Random XI stuff while we await the ODI team selection for the upcoming series. What is an all-time "heavyweights" XI for Zim? Should have at least played FC cricket, should have been "heavyweights" during their playing days
Tino Mawoyo
Kevin Kasuza
Hamilton Masakadza
Brendan Taylor (wk)
Charles Kunje
Craig Evans
Prince Masvaure
Richie Kaschula
Eddo Brandes
Stephen Peall
Tinashe Panyangara
Can anyone do better?

What other country in the world can post such a team and be almost equal or stronger than the current 11!

The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

Is this is a team of overweight cricketers?

I think he was normal during his playing days. May not qualify.
But yes, Streak can get in if Evans can. Both with strong and burly build.
And Peall vs Strydom is anyone's guess.
Duffin and Rinke are good additions. Prosper was OK in his playing days I guess.
Yeah, I can't think of any other team being this competitive even if they choose their best heavyweights.
Not necessarily overweight alone - as Hamilton, Taylor and Streak can't be called overweight as such - just the strong and burly cricketers mixed with some overweights

Yeah, but with Mutombodzi and Wellington making up the spin brigade in my line up, Kamungozi misses out even in this XI
May be he can replace Ferriera and open the batting...
