[Match Thread] U19 WC: Zimbabwe vs Australia

Biggest match of their lives. Can the boys repeat the brilliant feat of the 2004 contingent? If they do, we don't have to get into any other complicated maths:

It looks a bit scary on paper. We need a turning wicket, but I doubt they’ve prepared one.

Madhevere just hit the CEO of Australian crickets son for two successive fours off his first two balls. Enjoyed that lol

Yeah, this is turning into a nightmare very quickly. At least we could have made them get those 135 runs in about 25 overs, but it will all be over in less than 15 I think.

Meanwhile, NZ are absolutely hammering Kenya like there is no tomorrow. We are at least significantly better than Kenya and PNG from what we have observed so far. All 3 NZ batsmen on display so far have been on the Colin de Grandhomme mission.

And Madhevere breaks through. At least we won't be going down by 10 wickets like PNG...

For Australia, Xavier Bartlett is quite a promising young bowler. Hits the deck and gets good bounce, he is returning from a back injury though so probably might be a little underdone.

Looking at this squad its so unbalanced its not funny

5 of our top 6 were also 5 of our first 6 bowlers used

What role are Harrison, Frost, Nenhunzi & Chiminya supposed to playing ???

In fairness Chiminya & Nenhunzi did bat well but surely the couple of quicks we left at home would have been more useful ??

Who picked this squad ?? Mangongo & Utseya ??
