That Blignaut catch was an absolute ripper at the time, On a semi related note, I miss the old days where Australia A used to play regular televised games.

I feel like Douglas Marillier and Trevor Gripper should be on this list.

That Blignaut catch is without doubt one of the most underrated catches I've seen. In arguably our best kit ever. Oh how we need those days back.

Yeah great kit, those guys had belief, look at how Price grinned at the batter, you always felt they could win on their day and were always on the cusp of going to the next level. We were on our way to good things before Zim went South.

Douggie Maurillier was a seriously clever cricketer.

Happy to make changes if a player gets enough votes

At this point the side is

Ebrahim
Vusi
Tari
Grant Flower
Carlisle
Raza
Taibu
Streak
Blignaut
Wellington
Mpofu

Once the side is set we can set a field as well

The world record-holder Wayne James deserves a mention also. He was unlucky to be playing at the same time as Andy Flower.

Most catches in a first class match or innings ?

Happy to swap Taibu for James if there is enough support

Wayne James equaled the world record of most dismissals in an innings by a keeper with 9. In the same match he also scored 99 in the first innings, and 99* in the second innings - the only player to achieve 99 twice in the same match. Never saw any footage of him playing, but presumably he could keep pretty well.
