It's been well over 18 months since Zimbabwe has played a t20

Rashid and Nabi got picked from their heroics in the last t20 WC

Im sure that if guys like Hami, Mire and Cremer do well at the next t20 WC they might get into more Leagues around the World, Mire especially in OZ since he wouldn't count as an overseas player
ODIs as well. Case in point when Mustafiz was picked he had played 3 or 4 T20s total. It was mostly for his ODIs and even then he had only played 9 of those. You're partially right though, the WT20 highlights got them on the IPL radar.

Not watched an IPL game since season 1. Don't think many people really bother with this outside of the sub continent.

None of them even made it to the bidding room so zero interest from IPL teams.

+1
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

If Cremer wanted an IPL contract I think it’s attainable but hesgot to put his hand up for the other t20 leagues.
Big bash could have used him for the Sixers for instance. He holds himself well he would be in.

The IPL now just feast on who’s ripped up the various PL’s around the world.

The IPL bids are terrible. So much quality get's left out. They still bid on underperforming players like Gayle. I'm sure we could build a team with the unsold players that would demolish all the IPL teams.
