Ervine is out whilst some of the bigger names are in for short stints, I think.

Nick Welch looks really really mean, or massively unimpressed with something:

 I’d also look like that if I’d been left stranded on 175no.

Good to know that I'm not the only one who can't stare into the sun bright eyed and all smiles

A stint in an English club is a must for any cricketer, especially our guys who don’t get that much cricket.
We don’t have a single player currently in our system that would progress from English club into County, so those are unfounded fears. There are also big differences in the standard between the divisions, particularly between Div 1 and Premier. There are very few clubs that will get a promotion into Prem and not finish near the bottom. A lot of these sides have current and ex county players in them and the standard is damned good.
I would be curious to see who is or has played Prem.
I have 2 things about this statement that doesnt quite sit right with me.

1. Why is playing in England valuable for our players when the team is banned from playing in England? I would say its the worst country to develop and get used to playing in.
2. None of the current guys may be good enough but if one does excel or get ahead, and a future kid shows promise, it will. So it kneecaps us.

i say get the rising stars to India or sri lanka. Will be cheaper too.
