Re: No Zimbabwe Group Stage games to be televised in ICC WCQ
Ah ok. It's almost impossible to get any information from Fox Sports on what is happening. They never respond.

I know. They are also showing Ice cricket, which is interesting to see at first, but its just a hit around and nothing like you would be expecting. Fox Sports are just terrible.

The last Afghanistan tour here was live streamed by some Afghans. Whilst it was crap quality it was a lot better than nothing.

How many 'free to air' TV stations are there in Zimbabwe ??
What is the paid TV company over there ??

ZTV is free to air. If it was encrypted and you had to subscribe to view then viewership would be absolutely zero. Zip, Zilch.
They have licensing officers that then go door to door demanding to be let in and they count your televisions and you pay regardless of whether you watch the local station or not. Yet another scam.
It’s the same with the radio licenses. Every car is fitted with a radio and you have to have a sticker to prove you’ve paid. Certainly no white people listen to the local radio anymore, but you pay nonetheless.
DSTV is what most people watch. It’s about $80 a month, but something has happened of late and we no longer watch the same sport that’s aired in SA, where it’s based.
Consequently very little cricket is now aired. It’s an annoying fuck up.

May be it's a good thing health-wise, that I would most likely be very busy during the qualifiers and may not be able to follow our misfortunes, televised or otherwise...
Re: No Zimbabwe Group Stage games to be televised in ICC WCQ
I am going to be away for most of it and only back to see anything if we are on the verge of qualifying.
