As expected, Namibia miserable in the chase and losing the match. Thanks to stupid decision to bowl first in a decider. UAE team is a slap on the face of ICC

A real nailbiter in the Canada vs. Nepal match. Nepal's last wicket partnership up to 43 and 8 runs needed from the final over. C'mon Nepal!

2 runs, 1 ball ... just hit it, man!
And the bowler bowls a wide
1 run, 1 ball, 1 wicket.
... and Nepal win it. Karan KC, what a hero! 42 off 31 balls from no. 10
Welcome to the qualifiers, Nepal!

Would rather have Nepal in our group.

With that wide bowled, on the adjacent ground, UAE had just dismissed Namibia and the scores were level at the Nepal vs Canada match and one ball to go. There were still 3 teams with qualification possibility with 1 ball to go! If there was no run in the last ball, Nepal and Canada would have qualified with the tie, while the single meant Nepal went through with UAE, due to higher run rate over Canada.
Massive for Nepal! They made their life difficult in pretty much every match, but what a courageous innings by Karan!
Sad for Namibia though.

I hope UAE now selects better players and first of all, remove bhenchods like Boota, Mufti etc and bring in Chirag and other young players.

Wow, this is fairy-tale stuff! Karan KC, take a bow!
Their premier fast bowler Sompal Kami is pretty good. I remember seeing him bowl in the 2014 T20 World Cup. He bowled at a decent pace and even hit 140+ kph on occasion! In Sandeep Lamichaane they have a wicket-taking leggie. Basant Regmi, the left-arm spinner, too is a quality bowler.
They have a decent bowling attack but their batting is very weak. Paras Khadka, Gyanendra Malla and Sharad Vesawkar are probably the only guys in their team who have some ability with the bat. The rest are complete duds.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 3:50 pmMassive for Nepal! They made their life difficult in pretty much every match, but what a courageous innings by Karan!

My thoughts exactlyCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Feb 14, 2018 3:54 pmWould they be in our group? Then we need to brace ourselves for Sandeep Lamichhane
Plus if we get UAE that means all our matches will have ODI status
