We’d need to import cricketers from Zambia, Congo and Mozambique to make up numbers

Zimbabwe's future in test cricket is uncertain, till ICC test championship is over, Zimbabwe will probably have the option to play test cricket only against Afghanistan and Ireland in Tier 2 system.

ZC should function properly in arranging domestic cricket as most of the schedules are either postponed, stopped because of salaries, strikes, logistic issues etc. these sort of problems needs to be cleared first before going for proper domestic structure

Five franchise logan cup four day competition is quite good,no need to change it, as Zimbabwe has less opportunity now in test formats, reducing the number of rounds will also not effect Zimbabwe

Shorter formats needs a big improvement.

Five franchise and one winner of the associate provincial team , with total of 6 teams should feature in 50 overs Pro 50 tournament.

After Pro 50, another 50 over competition should take place with 4 teams that will feature Zimbabwe Seniors (Red) , Zimbabwe A( Green) ( best performers in domestic cricket irrespective of any age ) , Zimbabwe Youths ( Rising Stars, Under 23s, Under 19 age group, 2 senior players must ) ( Yellow) and a Provincial Associate team ( Orange) ( squad that will include best performers in associate provincial competition & clubs, 2 senior players must )

Useless shit tournament like ZPL should be stopped.

Finally, a 6 franchise T20 Tournament ( 5 franchises and an associate provincial winners)

Totally agree.
So the governing body has to tell all players not to take holidays during the season. And no junkets to Asia that conflicts with the FC program.
Honestly, I'm gobsmacked about last years fiasco when Cremer & Waller were in Singapore when Mid West Rhinos were seriously in contention for the Logan Cup. This is one reason I like Hamilton Masakadza. He has proven he returns to the LC when not on international duty or in a 20/20 comp while others pick & choose their games. If any Zimbabwean player believes they are over worked & has to 'manage' their playing roster, they are truly delusional.

Asking Senior players to be in Logan Cup or Pro 50 Odi Competition for full season, might arise a " Windies " like situation, which might result more damage, as for a star quiting Zimbabwe and pursuing cricket in other nation is quite easy, at present lots of star Zimbabwe players have demand in various T20 leagues all over the World, with the fringe and the U19s gets chance to play in club cricket in UK, where ( in case of stars ) they could earn more then what they receive from ZC contract, moreover salaries sometimes comes late, as a result players starts to give hint of protest and strikes.

At present, a domestic T20 Competition is going on in Hong Kong, which added star value with the addition of Sangakara, Sammy, Smith and Wahab Riaz, lots of players from Netherlands, Scotland are taking part, some players from Zimbabwe could have been seen there if no Afghanistan tour would have been there in the fixture.
