Musakanda added to ODI squad

Post by zimfan1 »

Heading to the UAE, 15 man squad expected to be the same as the World Cup Qualifiers.

Only change will be Seen Williams if he is passed fit.

Still trying to figure out who you are in the squad, or the touring party at least

Would he be available for today? I'd put him straight in to replace Waller. Else, he should definitely play all 3 last ODIs for sure, in Waller's place.

The living in Hong Kong (correct me if i'm wrong) part of zimfan1's profile i think is used to throw us off the scent. I reckon he's definitely a member of the squad, or a high up member of ZC. There's been a few posts recently about players, like Taylor and Jarvis' presence having a negative effect on the side, to which our very own zimfan1 has responded with definitive answers.
Interesting ;)

I wonder if Tari opening is an option ??

Im pretty much done with Waller and with Mire struggling up top now maybe Tari could open and Mire bat 6 or 7 to attack in the last 10 ?

Would just be a short term fix as I still see Mire as an opener

Squad kind of confirmed. What I don't know is if Williams is fit then surely it make a sense to drop Burl because he plays in the middle order as well whilst Tari can play in the top 3. We need balance and cover up top. Tari can easily play anywhere in the top 6 from what I saw. Unless they plan to move PJ uptop
