I'd be okay with that but he might be feeling a bit off immediately.

I just don't see how at the current point in time we can have both Burl and Waller in the team. Waller's played a craptonne of games and averaging 19 is just not good enough. he would have to be 7 or 8 and be bowling really useful stuff for him to be considered, in my opinion.

Burl will get there but I think we need some confidence ahead of the qualifiers and having Burl and Waller in the middle is such a huge liability. At least when waller was 8 in Sri Lanka its one of those "no real expectation" slots where a quick 20-30 is handy. But if you're in the top 7 you can't wait starts and it heaps too much pressure on the guys up top who are getting back into it.

That being said, happier with BT at 3 Ervine 4.

The other thing I've been considering is not sticking with this opening pair. Originally I thought stick with them constantly because they gel together, but realistically mire is going to play that way regardless of partner, and the running isn't great anyway. Maybe Hammy at 3 would be handy, especially due to the current stability issues.

That all being said, I am an advocate for "the less changes the better" but I'm just not sure of what to do sadly. Hope the boys can do well, we're a better side than this.

Just appending some stats to what we already know:

Waller averages 21.5 over 125 international innings across formats. Moor averages 22.1 over 48 knocks. I mean, surely, they are not up to it just like we found out with Maruma (10.9 over 28), Dabengwa (17.6 over 47), Matsi (21.0 over 136) and Chamu (23.0 over 135) earlier. By contrast, Sibanda was slightly better (23.4 over 180 digs). Burl averages 15.6 from 12 digs, but probably too early to call anything on his career, but I won't be too surprised if he goes the same way as the other names above. Musakanda, by comparison, has 23.5 over 11 innings.

Basically, we are screwed as far as batting is concerned.

Chuck Chisoro in for Waller and I’m good.

3 no balls in one over .chatara needs to be dropped he pissed me off he wasnt putting in any effort into his bowling . We need muzarabani to bowl bouncers @ shahzad .vitori swinging toe crushers could be useful. Jarvo should keep his place because he cost a lot of money to bring back
