Didn’t realise you were so young striker ! I’m currently saving myself to hopefully be over there this time next year , be pretty cool to meet over there man
Yeah it sucks!!! Sounds like a plan I’ll aim for this time next year too. Would be awesome, hopefully I can save enough for it.
I’ve only just turned 25 myself man , think you myself and sloany might be the youngest baring a few
Was just going to say that.

Firstly any cash must be kept outside the country-Bank account in Isle of man, or oz or sumting.
Secondly kit....only if you have a target audience to give to. I can tell you there are still around 60 helmets+other kit still not distrubuted by ZC it was donated 4 yrs ago. The kit is sold and the money pocketed by gremlins.
Private school fees vary from $1700-$5000 a term.
My good friend Jimbo has been running his SPorts Center for a year now and aiming for International High Performance status by end of this year.
He is looking for a sponsor/s as ZC did not like his proposal and offered nothing.
Jimbob has set up at Teachers Training College now(Hillside Teachers College)a gymnasium and physio room. I told him about this thread...
"The 3 tennis courts are being resurfaced, an 8 lane athletics grass track, football, rugby and a cricket pitch rejuvenated. Cricket Pitch is roughly size of Queens. We finished the exterior wall before Xmas.
There needs to be 2 current cricket nets recemented and ideally 2-4 more done.
I have a PPP(Public Private Partnership) lease with TTC. TTC is a teachers training college! They teach physical education teachers that go and work in the village schools. ABout 100 PE teachers graduate every year. They are my target to give level 1 in cricket, rugby and soccer coaching qualifications by the end of this year 2018. ALso i am trying to get some cheap hard plastic bats and balls recycled from plastic to saturate the western suburbs so that the kids can play cricket on every piece of land and learn bat ball coords, eye ball coords, throwing, catching and bowling from an early age. The building of Cricket pitches in Rural areas where clean water is a necessity for drinking rather than watering makes these pitches unsustainable.
We are not trying to be another cricket academy- they have their specialist coaches. I am hoping to create a niche for Brian Vitori to be in charge of the cricket side of this High Performance Centre-we'll soon be running internationally recognised sport and fitness courses and hope to put Brian through some of those as well as look at decent external coaching from Oz or ECB for him. Though secretly i want him to become a legbreaker and T20 batsman!
Anyway little T thats most of what is happening here- oh we nailed our borehole after 40m, pumping 10000l/hour.
Oh and the TTC 's around the country have their own games every year and every 2nd year they compete with their Botswana and Zambian counterparts. At the moment TTC are mainly dominating but we want to raise the standards even higher with both men and womens teams. We also intend to create a club where the rest of Bulawayo can join and compete and we hope to offer team sports for the ever growing home schooled kids.
If your forumites are interested in helping in any way then they are more than welcome- it takes a village to raise a child"
