9 overs in no match thread and no wickets for Zimbabwe

Chatara & Vitori take the new ball clear message Jarvis is the 4th seamer now it seems

Some part of me thinks Jarvis might have actually made a mistake coming back from his own personal perspective. I guess when he made the decision Vitori and Blessing weren't in the picture but I honestly don't see him in the team in 4 years time.

The longer format is his real strength and he might serve as the senior pace bowler leading the 2 younger faster guys. It's a combo a lot of teams have but he is just bowling 5-7kph too slow. I would say our test bowling pace attack would have Jarvis Vitori and Blessing but for how long can Jarvis or Vitori hold off Mumba if he comes back bowling at the same pace as before. He was recognized as the fastest bowler we had before he was injured and young too. Vitori has the advantage of pace(I think he could be our fastest bowler) but if you are bowling at 127kph ODIs usually have to be your strength.. to make things worse we have basically been demoted as well in the longer format. How many games are we even going to play?

PNG is one of the least talked side in this tournament has finished among top 4 in that 2015-2017, can surprise favourites of this tournament.

Vitori with new action looks horrible, going for plenty. Jarvis, Chatara, Blessing should be three frontline pacers for Zimbabwe.

Well, PNG don't seem to be quaking in their boots. 64/1 after 13 overs isn't going to make our future adversaries sweat. Jarvis and Blessing's first overs are not great.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Clearly Bulawayo suits spinners more. Chisoro gets a wicket as well.

Chisoro has to get a game against Nepal Sunday. Madness to keep selecting three pacers

We need to keep the RR as low as possible in the 1st 15 overs, then use the spin intelligently to strangle opposition...in Bulawayo, at least.

Did someone really expect that a couple of months under ICC's charge would substantially alter the basic nature of the pitches in the Bulawayo?

Btw, with only one Super Six match played outside Harare, teams from Group A will have a bit of a head-start in getting used to the conditions (apart from Zim of course).

The Irish seamers are doing damage at Queens Sports club today

Our best chance to beat Afghanistan is still with 3 seamers imo
