If Chisoro doesn’t at least play vs West Indies, Streak and co are seriously not thinking.

Yea exactly, he needs to play from what I've seen. Not too sure about opening the bowling with him though against Lewis and Chris Gayle.

How does this affect us?

I suppose a WI loss is useful, but only if we lose to Ireland and then beat WI ourselves?

Just shows that our batting struggles against Afghanistan wasn't completely against the grain. They have some brilliant spinners

The issue with Afghanistan winning ( if they do ) is that it brings them back into contention, I would have rather UAE bowl Scotland out for 198

Doesn’t really matter what way we look at things we just need to win tomorrow and then beat UAE and we’re through unless Scotland beat Ireland & Windies

Assuming Scotland and Afg win today:
Scotland - 5 points
West Indies - 4 points
Zimbabwe - 3 points
Ireland - 2 points
Afghanistan - 2 points
UAE - 0 points
And Zimbabwe beats Ireland tomorrow:
Scotland - 5 points
Zimbabwe - 5 points
West Indies - 4 points
Ireland - 2 points
Afghanistan - 2 points
UAE - 0 points
And Ireland beats Scotland:
Scotland - 5 points
Zimbabwe - 5 points
West Indies - 4 points
Ireland - 4 points
Afghanistan - 2 points
UAE - 0 points
And West Indies beat Zimbabwe:
West Indies - 6 points
Scotland - 5 points
Zimbabwe - 5 points
Ireland - 4 points
Afghanistan - 2 points
UAE - 0 points
And Afghanistan beat UAE:
West Indies - 6 points
Scotland - 5 points
Zimbabwe - 5 points
Ireland - 4 points
Afghanistan - 4 points
UAE - 0 points
West Indies beat Scotland:
West Indies - 8 points
Scotland - 5 points
Zimbabwe - 5 points
Ireland - 4 points
Afghanistan - 4 points
UAE - 0 points
Zimbabwe beat UAE:
West Indies - 8 points
Zimbabwe - 7 points
Scotland - 5 points
Ireland - 4 points
Afghanistan - 4 points
UAE - 0 points
Then Afghanistan vs Ireland doesn't matter.

The only hiccups are if Ireland loses to Scotland, or Zimbabwe loses to Ireland. Or a washout. As far as I can see anyway.
