Zimbabwe needs to drop Muzarabani against Windies as a strategical move, as he is fast, Windies batsnan likes bowlers with some pace and are not comfortable against slow bowlers and spinners.

Sikandar Raza should open the bowling against Gayle & Lewis.

ive always thought 8-3 suits us, especially with Williams in the team.

Williams and Raza are very much all rounders now.
For me I had an I as he with it in test cricket because we never looked like taking 20 wickets ever. There is always a chance one bowler isn't doing so well so that would leave you with 2 specialists. It was also not helped by the fact that our attack had Mpofu and Tiripano in it.

Williams is turning more into an all rounder so it can even work in tests in the right conditions. For perfect balance Mire has to bowl. I don't know why they have been allowing him to not bowl. He surely doesn't have a say in what he can or can't do yet so he needs to take his bowling seriously otherwise he might as well only be competition with Cephas in the squad. Adapt or get left behind. That's what happened to Chamu and Elton. Stop bowling and you lose value when your batting fails. We desperately need an all rounder who is not a spinner especially if we make the world cup in England.

The way England has been preparing their ODI tracks of late, it won’t matter who bowls. Garbage 350+ wickets. So boring.

It seems like a few of our senior batting all rounders decide they’re going to concentrate on their batting at some point, especially the seamers. Unless they’re unable to bowl because they have a niggle it’s nonsense. Solly is a sharp bowler, Hammy has a rep of having golden arm, I know in a low scoring game it’s a risk in case they take some tap, but nonetheless they need to be prepared to bowl. I really think Cremer occasionally doesn’t handle his bowling changes as well as he might.

Maybe 20 years ago, but not so much now. WI pitches have been so slow and turgid recently that their batsman hardly ever get of face real pace, no young kid would actually want to charge in and bowl quick when their skill is nullified by the surface. There is something badly wrong when someone like Nikita Miller is taking his first class wickets at 15s
