Where did you get this information from?
Is this national players?
Day before the biggest game of their lives?
This can’t be for real!!
Heard from a couple of the players. They did return to train in the afternoon but 100% were on strike in the morning.

This is disappointing given that ICC approved "Pakistanis" are running the ZC now. Either HHM was right, or the ZC is in such financial shit, that even good governance won't work.

That a an interesting development. I wonder if they all went on strike and if not who actually did? A bit strange considering how big this game is. Lose this and the money might completely dry out.

Are they also saying the ICC gave them physical cash? Also strange

Actually googly going on strike the day before this match is tactically sound, because ZC would need to buckle to demands.

The players have a gun to ZCs head because we cant afford not to play.

They did this once before before a big match.

But problematic that this is what they are thinking about before the game.

Anyway back on the subject of the Irish bowling, Rankin could be the weak link. He looks somewhat past his prime, neither quick nor especially accurate these days. Murtagh is always reliable, and McCarthy has a fair bit of promise, other than that the attack looks a bit underwhelming. Maybe Peter Chase should get a game, he is pretty lively.

Is chase in the squad. McCartyh has been surprisingly effective. They also have this 18 year old who can bowl 140 but he's not in the squad. Little I think his name is.

Chase is the reserve quick in the squad. And yeah Josh Little was who you were thinking of, pacy young left armer, think he was starting university recently so may not be available that often for a little while.

The forum is so desperate about Zimbabwe, that none of them considering Irish as a strong side :D Irish bowling has been taken into the lowest level here. Rankin, Chase, McCarthy, Murtagh made Afghanistan suffer in the flaccid, spin friendly tracks of UAE. Simi Singh & Dockrell have quality.Zimbabwe tracks are providing some life to the pacers, which will be great for the Irish Side.

Tracking Irish performance against Windies will be a huge mistake, Irish team has best batting line up among all the other team here, even they can chase 300. Seeing Zimbabwe struggle against Scotland, Irish theory will be just to win the toss and restrict Zimbabwe within 250
Success depends on Aggressive Instinct

Stoneman all you do is talk negative crap and always look to have a dig at zim, everyone’s entitled to their opinion but if you don’t rate the team or don’t want to get behind them why are you even on this forum ?
The Zimbabwe Cricket team have found Ebola in one of their members, but they're not concerned because they have also found Ebatsmen and Efielda!

It's pent up frustration because he's hung like a mole rat.
Gentlemen you can't be brushing this strike thing aside like it's nothing. You can't have half the team not pitching for practice and the other half seemingly willing to continue.
If this is true It proves that Hasnain has joined the sadza and gravy train as well coz he's not remitting bond notes to whichever rock he lives under.
I told you that in an earlier post they would be selling the usd and trying to give the players bond notes and pocketing the difference. They make 50% profit at today's rate when they do this. It's an illegal transaction so you can't declare the profit, it had to be split between the people who can make it happen. Most of the players just allow it to happen like dumb sheep.
I'm sure some are still ghost sheep so they're not a problem. The admin get a chunk so they feel important. The culture here is not how much you get, although as much as you can get away with without being jailed, but to get more than the others so you're important and have status and can afford those long pointy black shoes.
Again it reflects disunity amongst the players when some are striking and some aren't.
The FC players are welcome to strike because it gives ZC an excuse to pay them nothing for even longer. I think Mukhulani, Chingoka and Bvute will rule for 50 years and when they pass they will be buried at Heroes Acre and get a state funeral.
