Because the tie-breaker is number of wins, a washout means we'd miss out.

So we MUST WIN today to qualify, simple as that.

That’s a disaster. There’s some blue sky around this cumulonimbus so it might be isolated and we could get back on, problem is if it chucks it down there will be standing water. They took too King’s to put the covers on. Why was that??

The umpiring decisions have been very curious. Wouldn't surprise me if, having got WI in, they now want to get Ire/Afg as some token symbol that they care about expanding the sport.

A wet outfield is a big worry, although HSC drainage is pretty good isn't it?

Pretty much over now barring a miracle ( Ireland v Afghanistan tied game would get Zim through). Sadly our NRR dipped below Irelands so even a washout won't help us.
