West Indies Umpire for our UAE match

Post by etoreveyi »

Lets say suppose WI lose tomorrow.

Do you think the umpire might play a part marking sure we lose to UAE? :|

I hope not.
Somebody mentioned yesterday if these umpires are ever accountable for these poor decisions, and I ask that question now; who's accountable?

I am ok with whoever the umpire is as long as Paul Reiffel isn't involved. He has screwed us over so many times!

Too bad Ian Robinson has passed on, he was always good for a few home town calls.

It should not matter as long as we do not give the umpires the chance.

On a side note, they should give everyone the day off and get the ground packed. Load it up and get the crowd in there.

I'm half tempted myself to jump on a plane and go just for the game, fly back after the final.

Bad scheduling. It's also unfair on the umpire who would be under extra scrutiny.

Just on the weekend there was an almighty brawl in Belgium where the Spanish rugby team felt cheated by the Romanian umpire--Spain's loss putting Romania through to the WC.

Slightly off topic but where's Russell Tiffin? I'm pretty sure he was umpiring earlier this year before they postponed the domestic season but I don't think he's been sighted at all this tournament?
