Won't Zimbabwe be suspended by the ICC if ZC is disbanded by the government. Sports bodies don't tend to look kindly on governments dissolving the official governing structure of said sport.

I think Eugene is right, but maybe in the context of Zim where the admin is clearly not representative of the zim cricket community they may stay out of whatever happens.

Now people are supporting politicians to interfer with the functioning of the board. Remember these politicians are the ones brought ZC in this situation in 2003. When you want
to judge someone bring all evidence bad and good then you make your own judgedment . By so doing you will be objective in making your objective decision. You cant make noise when you not even partial in arriving into a certain decison. Why people have stayed away from the really truth here? What have prompted the board to fire those people ? The board has done all it could to support
Streak by bringing back BT and Jarvis. They heard his call as per his request to fire Ntini and the board did so for him. However, with all the board have done to please him and his technical staf . The board went futher and negotiated the world cup to come here with a view that with the home conditions our team will hv an advantage because of home conditions. But to no avail

.. The board has a strong case here against Streak and company. Mliswa would have tried to look at all these factors before making his call for the board to resign. After all he is a politician who does not beleive in the democrative values
Hance he beleives about coups . While we are free to choose our actions but we are not free to choose the consequencies of our actions. The board has hired all these people with a view to bring positive results. I have been following this forum for a long time. I heard people saying Zim was strugling against spin and thats the reasons why we are consistantly loosing to Afganistan. So Streak and company failed to come up with conter strategy to deal with spin for a very long time now. The board has looked at varius issues as to how possible Streak and company can acheive with the team but really its hard. Zim never lost so many games before to Afganstan as happend recently with a 4.1 and t20 2.0. Zim never failed to qualfy for the world cup since 1983. So it is justfied that Streak was going to be the first casuality here. He was in charge and not the board so you cant involve the board in this matter. The board is not happy with their employees and reserve the right to fire and hire. Is there any possibility that Streak can be a good head coach? There is no indication as to Streak has available ideas to move the team forward. We love and respect him as our langendary hance he was given the opportunity that he never made use of it. Loosing 4.1 and
2.0. It shows that the standard went down.Loosing to UAE was even hard to beleive this was not something can be digested at all.

Just seen the interview. The man is passionate and saying all the right things. I think Mliswa has enough political capital, given what he's managed to accomplish elsewhere. We have a cancer at the heart of cricket admin and it will take politics to get rid of it. I am also glad to learn that he's looking beyond cricket because the SRC and other sports bodies have governance issues as well. Given the cleansing fires raging, I think not qualifying for the world cup has been a blessing in disguise.
