[MATCH THREAD] Pro50 Championship Rhinos v Goats & Stars v Eagles

Post by jaybro »

Looks like the games are going ahead with the Stars naming their 13 man squad in Twitter

Shame no Shumba or Murray in their side with only 3 batsman named !!!

I wonder who turns out for the other 3 sides ??

No Taylor, Cremer, PJ or Waller for the Rhinos. Masakadza and Chatara playing for the Mountaineers.

Chibhabha captains the Eagles and Elton giving it another go. Good to see Mawoyo back for the Mountaineers. But no room for Vusi.

Well this is very interesting. Clearly something is going on with that "band of brothers" ..Well Burl is there for the stars at least

Will be interesting to see who plays for the tuskers but having 7 or 8 players revolt and everybody else plays wont remove these guys. We have seen this before

Its a shame there are even any games taking place at all. The people who suffer the most are the ones who are actually playing. Tough world

Back to the games. The rising stars are on a mission to impress

Masukanda going out cheaply. This kid can onto the seen with so much promise. Has been given the chances too. He really needs to sort himself out.

It certainly looks a bit fishy, surely all four of them can't be injured/given a break at the same time.

Patrick Mambo for the Stars hasn't played since 2014!

Some great hitting from Kamunhukamwe. We should be playing more Twenty20 matches to unearth who the real power hitters are in the country. Its nice to have domestic cricket back on the scene. At the end of the day this is the yard stick for the survival of the game in the country.

Yet another half century from Masakadza. He can score runs after all? Wonder were disappeared to during the qualifiers. Burl just cant find second gear 7 from 33.

Elton and his mercenaries are set to be the next national team- sell outs for a bit of shrapnel.
Tino Mawoyo.....is that correct he's playing?? i don't think he can get a 5 on the beep test. The lads been eating for preseason warm up.
