Shouldn't we at least try and poach players from the countries that are better than us, like UAE? Then again, maybe Saudi Arabia are better than us.

Has to be desi. Faraz is probably not an Arabic name, even if it is, it isn't a name Saudis would keep. Secondly there is no "al" before Akram. Most Saudis have names with "al" in it.

Yeah, it seems that the name 'Faraz' is actually of Persian origin and not a loanword from Arabic.
