Youths will not be intersted in playing for Zimbabwe and spend most of their valuable time in protest, strikes. Rather they will follow the stars like Currans, Ballance, de Grandhomme, Cartwright and move to other nation to showcase their skills.

U need irish ancestry to qualify . Or citizenship you dont just wake up and decide you want to play for ireland because you play county cricket .
It’s not worth trying to explain that, all whites look the same.

Hahahahahahaha

as i understand it if you have no links to a place you have to go through a qualification process like what Raza did . Its much easier for nick compton to play for zim because of his zim mom than brad wadlan who doesnt have any connection to zim .

know this because I only recently looked into it for myself (and I actually have an Irish surname)
By Irish you mean Scottish that couldn't swim.

Ireland is a better prospect for youngsters.

You have to fail an IQ test to be Irish.

Not surprised at all that Ireland are getting pumped in the actual game. Test status is just the beginning of a very long road. Even Afghanistan is going to struggle because they dont bat deep enough even though they have a world class bowler. You need at least 3 Brendan Taylors to put up a real fight against a top test team

Welcome to Test cricket! Baptism of fire for Ireland, nowhere to hide in 5 days, but those openers bowled some beautiful deliveries, they would have undone a lot of top batsmen.

Ireland will definitely become a haven for South African players looking to play international cricket, lower end English players also and of course Zimbo's

Don't forget it isn't all that long ago that Pakistan were ranked the worlds best test side.

Two Stalwarts Misbah & Younis Khan having 90% impact in it. After their retirement, batting is inexperiened. Irish is batting heavy side, their first inings failure was for being less calm.

Lower English for sure l, but don’t know about the African contingent because the generations that migrated into Africa is getting to be pretty long ago, so the next crop of kids will only have citizenship of Africa most likely.

That said they may actively spend years to acquire it. So who knows.
