this was to be expected in any case, we deserved it, our bowling at best is just shit, so spineless hamilton wasnt even inspiring as a captainthe body language just said it all

if we dont play waller and zhuwao in this format, which one should they play in then?
nyumbu being in that XI is a no brainer, honestly we cant expect someone to resurrect his career at int'l level
batting burl at 7?? really??
recalling elton chigumbura who walter chawaguta felt had fallen out of favour with the prev think tanks, would you have blamed them for sidelining him after such a disappointing return?

LESSON LEARNT
we are nothing without Taylor, Williams and Raza. just pay the blokes their dues, eat the humble pie and recall them in the squad!

to expect the players to compete when we dont even have a premier t20 competition in our backyard is a tough ask. honestly the board should be brutally assessed and questions have to be answered. if nothing is done we are definitely sinking in oblivion.

What everyone is conveniently not discussing is that we only have half a dozen players of international caliber in the entire county. All the other member nations could make up 4 teams each that wouldn’t lose like that.
I’m not knocking the players, they’re doing their best, but when you choose not to follow what the rest of the world is doing in terms of player development you should not expect to sit at the head table.
Whilst it’s a sport where an individual can obliterate you, when you’re defending you can’t have three or four players not up to speed. It’s all well and good that guys will have a bad day, but a bad few years is another thing entirely.

Its only a matter of discussion what's good and what's bad, the problem is in the root of the plant not in the stem which is becoming difficult to solve after every year because of the dominating political impact in the game

Finch was in ridiculous form
No he wasn’t in form, at least we have no way of knowing.

The reality is this is what happens when you put an attacking elite t20 player against bowlers like Nyumbu. He’s going to clean up more often than not. Someone was always going to clean up. If not him, the guy coming in at 3/4/5 will.
Next time it will be Stoinis and we will go ‘wow such touch’ and he could very well get 4 ducks in a row against top 8 teams thereafter.

Well he did score 68 off 33 against Pakistan yesterday. Unless Pakistan are just as crap as us too  they scored 117 for the loss of 1 in less than 11 overs. 200 was on the cards there too. Nyumbu definitely shouldnt be anywhere near the team though. That I 100% agree with

Well you never know whether he’s actually the selector or Is doing what he’s told by someone that knows even less than he does.
I’d like to know who overturned Taibu and Streak’s non selection of CZ. I suspect Makoni always has an input and Mukhuhani always has to give the selection the final thumbs up. It’s just a mess.

This was an Australia side that just got humiliated by England. To say that Finch was in form is an overstatement.
