I will never understand how PJ is a decent test and t20 player but struggles in ODIs. I will never get that

Decent knock from PJ

Chigs and Waller to hopefully push to 160.

A not challenging, but not abysmal total. Well played Mire again. Moor did steady things with him. The others managed a couple of hits and out.

Par score for our team against that opposition but not for the deck.
Take Mire out of that side and it’s woeful.
We don’t play any T20 so that doesn’t make it any easier.
You’ve always got more time than you think. One boundary an over and strike rotation should get you to 170.

Hopefully this is the last of Chigumbura. Doesn't deserve to be near the Zim side in any format. Why we blood youngsters over players like him is beyond me. That's what streaky was trying to do but now all that work is undone. Tari is an example of getting more youth in.

Also, we have absolutely no game plan. We always open with a spinner no matter what. Pitch could be moving around and we'd still use spin. It's sad to watch.

A lot more tactical issues but just needed to get that said.

Waller's contribution was key to get us past 150 for me but it's still not enough against Australia. They are improving though. Raza and BT are heavily missed here. Would have scored an extra 10/15 runs. At least we didnt roll over and die like the first 2 games.

Mire should be speaking with a heavy Australian accent for the rest of the day so that the word can get out he has an Aussie passport. might get himself a gig

Also Tari should replace Hami in ODIs from now on. Hami has been a free rider this whole year. How many 50s has he scored? Tari has the abilty. He just needs experience so that he doesnt go after every single ball. I think everybody can see that now

Ya I agree. He’s got ability for sure, really good to see.
He’s our first home grown batsman in 15 years worth anything. The others have all done a stint here and there.
Imagine how good he could be after a couple of years with lots of games in a really competitive environment. I guess we’ll never know.

Another competitive game but the usual mishaps let us down. Decent last 2 games.

After watching Australia's middle order today I can see how England roasted them and I expect Pakistan to win if Finch doesnt score big.
