He is surprisngly quicker than most of our bowlers. I would say only Mumba and Blessing are faster. I might as well include Vitori but only God knows what happened to him after that suspension

At least mpofu is consistent with his bowling speeds 134km/hr to 140 for 10 ODI overs . If we had picked him against UAE he would have made it difficult for the UAE batsmen.chatara bowls at chibhabha's pace after 5 overs and its difficult to take edges .and caught behinds he doesnt even try to bowl quicker .

Chatara is a shadow of what he was back in 2010. He could legit crank it up to 90mph. Even in the CWC 2015 he bowled some zippy spells, not anymore though. Needs to run in and bend his back. Sick of seeing all these slower ball bouncers he tends to bowl in the middle overs, it really annoys me. Run up and bowl fucking fast

Chats had pushed the needle to 144.5 during the BD tour of 2014. Since he broke his leg, he's lost 10-15 kph pace. He's now just at 130. Still a shade quicker than Jarvis who's just at 125 albeit with far greater control.

I hope Chatara can recover. He has the skills, sometimes an injury like that does take more than a season to recover from.

I did my cruciate, my lateral, my medial and my cartridge in one whilst bowling in 2013, all in one accident...never bowled again due to a lack of confidence. So I will concede he's done amazingly well to get back out there, but at the same time I wish he'd still be able to bowl at the pace he once had

I’ve had car accidents with a better outcome than that.
Sorry for that.

Literally my leg gave way.
The only way I can describe the sound is like if you twisted bubble wrap, it was awful.

How painful is it? Worst pain you’ve ever felt?

Mortaza has torn the ACL in both of his knees and has had 7 surgeries in his career. He’s become a 125k trundled as well.
